Seven Circles
Music music music... all around... where it goes... here it shows we've found the sounds.
I just spent a bit of money.. a bit over a hundred bucks...
Guitar stand... 15 bucks, pretty good, it does the job. Also bought a Danelectro phaser "Pepperoni" effects pedal, on special for $49... so it was an impulse buy, it sounds good on its own with a guitar. The subtle low level setting on it works great on a new riff of mine (maybe an Eon song someday), when you crank the pedal it has this very eery grinding phaser effect that sounds awesome.
Bought some new music too... I finally found Bjork's Vespertine Live DVD, this really got me into Bjork's music, courtesy of my cousin Dalal who visits this blog. A shout out to ya sista! :P
Also bought two albums... the new one by Mark Lanegan called "Bubblegum" (which is the only CD I intended to buy today) as well as the new one by The Tea Party "Seven Circles"! I was in a state of doubleshock cos I didn't know it was out yet... Needless to say this album rocks... I wonder if they'll ever release an album that tops Triptych... considering it's one of my favourite albums of all-time I doubt it muchly.
In other news, the Federal Election Debate is on tonight at 7:30pm. I hope that Latham makes the most of it. Considering the bombing in Indonesia this week (a number of people were killed at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta), you would think a big slab of undecided voters would stick with Howard in these "uncertain times". Well a number of attacks have happened under his watch and it's time for a change... make the most of the debate, Mark!
