Honey, I'm home...


With so much time in between posts you would think I'd post five pages of rant. Wrong!

I have started a new job at Melbourne's biggest liquor merchant... started on Tuesday, full-time job... it's bloody hard getting used to waking up early and going to bed before 1am! However at this point in time some funds are needed to help me along and make some things a little easier. Bought dad some wines for Father's Day and thought I'd buy myself a Polish beer (half a litre - 500ml bottle) to drink over dinner. Good stuff indeed!

• John Pilger has written an article about the sameness of Bush and Kerry... this is vital for people who keep on hanging on to the myth of Kerry being the lesser of two evils (read the article).
  
• More on the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela with Chavez' government being further strengthened by the recent referendum.
  

Mark Latham is out of hospital, John Howard is still Hitler-ising our country and our Olympians have won lots of gold to hang around their collective neck...

On top of all that I recently (about 30 minutes ago) accidently slammed the car door on my sister's hand... one finger has absorbed the impact and she's next door at the moment getting treated at the doc's, hopefully no major damage. Didn't need that tonight though, it's a shit feeling.

Last weekend we recorded some guitar and vocal tracks for the Eon Automatic demo, they sound good for a demo, managed to get a baby grand piano for some of the tracks... also acoustic guitar makes it's debut for the band on one of the rhythm tracks. Gig next week...
