The special after-gig-post!

Let me tell you it was amazing... we couldn't have hoped for a better start for the Eon journey methinks. The buzz hasn't worn off but I'm knackered and just thrilled at how it all went. And the crowd we brought along, you guys are great and it is appreciated more than you can imagine. It's special having friends there and people to support you, it's what makes it so special AND it also drives us to play better :) Thank you so much. Much loves to yas, great to catch up with you too!

We were all pretty happy how it went despite some stuff-ups (but that makes it fun too!) and everyone quite hyped... Russ had to go home to Alex, she's sick and the boys are sick too :(... Chris went out with some mates from uni and the rest of us enjoyed the remaining acts and talked to our contingent of fans lol. So I got up there, pumped up, friends coming into the pub left right and center promising to be a great night... the Fender was turned up rather high (later I came to the conclusion it was TOO high lol). And we belted straight into Empire (with the intro bit that people liked muchly) which was quite fun to get the show up and running... the rest was nearly a blur... but Coffee Cups was great, the space in that song has made IT... Paperbag was fun too, putting all modesty aside I think that was one of my best solos for it. The bluesy and groovy part of the set was great and people got dancing at the last song as well as for our ENCORE...!!!... yes you heard it, people shouted for more haha.
I hope we can get all you Eonatics back for some great gigs, we all had such a ball (I know I'm repeating myself hehe). So Funk Me Harder was announced by the one-and-only FoetusGirl (aka Erica) to some interesting questions from the crowd lol... great set closer though, much fun! And then to my complete surprise I hear "Encore, Encore!" hahaha. So I'm thinking what the fuck do we play... and so of course we played the trusty Electronic Guff Acorn (EGA) jam which was a bluesy powerhouse that sounded all over the place at times hehe... awesone though, just semi-chaotic fun and good vibes all round...

It finally feels like this is how it should be and the vibe before and after was to a teaaa.... tea, that is. ;-)

So... I'm off to bed now, it's 1:33am and I have to get up tomorrow... school work and some CDs gifted to me by Cee to listen to!

Here's to a great night :)
Dan.
