My grandmother is the nicest woman in the world. No exaggeration. After all she's been through in life, she's still forgiving and absolutely loving to everyone. It's so hard to imagine how she managed to forgive people of their bullshit. Inspiring. A lot of the shit in this world would be non-existent with more of her kind around.
Whenever I go over to see her (which is less often than I should) I leave there with a sad feeling, or maybe it's just a very humbling feeling. In some way inspiring too in a very peaceful way. Stuff for a heavy heart. Love ya, gran.
"Shine on you crazy diamond"
(Actually that's not playing on the stereo... mum's got some bloody French CD on... lol)
Went to dad's office later then met up with Hock who I haven't seen in fucken ages. Good to catch up and talk about the world and the times we live in... Must get all the uni boys together for a good night out sometime soon, or wait for our next Eon gig. We'll see.
Beautiful day today, mid-20s, will have to do something tonight...
OO before I forget... my grandma dug up an old kaftan she bought from Egypt in 1985 when she went over. My uncle hasn't worn it so I've brought it home to wear... it's a very pleasant light blue colour with some white lining. In the washing now, it'll be worn tomorrow... maybe to rehearsal? lol. Maybe not.
Peace and Love
