Howdy from the Lime-infused stomach of DGB...
It is 10:05pm as I contemplate these mistakes I subject myself to. Super-size Lime Flavoured Creamy Ice-Cream Soda from Pancake Parlour. I feel like a camel. Holding extreme amounts of fizzy liquid... please evacuate the area immediately.

To keep you updated... yesterday (Saturday) was Yo and Nick's wedding. Damn cute couple! Both Vicksta and myself were invited so we dressed up and drove to the ceremony in Camberwell... St Dominic's Catholic Church was the venue for the proceedings, picturesque and... very very catholic lol. I hadn't been to a church for quite a while (since I put my energies towards something that can possibly bear more positive fruits). Nick's family is apparently very religious and stick to their conservative lifestyle without fail. Anyway, we waited outside and saw Yo arrive in a cream-coloured Cadillac beaming those cute wide-eyed smiles that she's known for... was great to see her so happy :) Vick and I made our way through to our seats inside as the friends and family hung around all dressed up spiff-like. There's something about occasions like this that get to me. Besides the happiness shared between the bride&groom and family/friends there is a certain naivety in the whole ceremony. I'm talking specifically about the religious aspect... for the first time in my life I've sat there rebutting so much that the priest. About the Catholic Church. About how Jesus Christ will follow the couple and strengthen their relationship and make it so fruitful. Well I guess he's been on holiday to Honolulu as half of marriages are ending in divorce these days. We humans are so primitive yet we think we are civilized and advanced. We create gods and deities to fill a void in our lives that we are too scared to face. Santa Claus is dead, people!

So the ceremony went on and I got more and more doubtful of Homo Sapiens Sapien. We will fix things and actually advance our human condition won't we? There's survival or death to all. If you want us to survive, do something about it. Change. No Wallet Evolution!
Ahem.

Side-tracked. Umm yes so everyone greeted the married couple and expressed their delight at the union with smiles, kisses and hugs. The ceremony went for 2.5 hours so Vicky was running late to meet for coffee with her Sydney friend. Armadale was the location. Flashy/trendy cafe. Snobs all around (we will include me in this description.. after all I did wear a suit minus tie... ;-) all black by the way, the death of my consciousness lol). I had this lovely Chocolate&Orange Mousse (really rich bitch food) while listening to the three people catch up (Vicky, her gay doctor friend from Sydney, and Michelle the... other chick). I was quiet and keeping a low profile, really had nothing to say while they caught up with each other. Reception time was at hand so we drove to the posh bullshit suburb of South Yarra (I do love some of the buildings though cos they are some of the oldest in Melbourne). Very swish and Dan felt very out of place... shit I really can't be bothered describing the whole night. So I'll just say it included nice food, a very little of uncoordinated dancing by yours truly as well and sitting at a table with snooty accountants and auditors who shat me. Took some photos with Yo and Nick and had a great catch-up day with Vicky. Left before 12 midnight and came home. Goodo!

As for today.. I read outside in the sun, did some full throttle exercise... included bike, strength work and tonight ROff came over so we kicked the football (Soccer!) around... twas good fun after eating some awesome Pizza at La Porchetta in Boronia (hello to the waitresses if they read this ;-))...

Now I will leave after providing another look into my controversial life. Goodnight and I will write soon... guten tag!
