Does anyone ever have the kind of morning where you just start laughing to yourself knowing that the sun isn't going to bare it's shiny arse on you for the whole day?
Well that was how my day started... woohoo! lol.
I caught a lift in to the city with mum... walked to Spring St to catch the City Circle tram. I was very early. Relaxed. Calm. Quite Collected. And no tram came. It just reinforced how crap our public transport is in this city... I mean Croatia was even better than this shitty system in "the most liveable city in the world". Anyway, I dashed to Latrobe St and just caught a regular tram there without paying the fare (c'mon, they OWED me that free ride).
Then Roff called.
Roff: "Can't come to the tennis on Friday"... "long story"... "Gotta work".
Dan: "You submitted a request for a day off and it was permitted"... "Shit"... "Fuck".
So yes, bad start to the day... this is not good when you deal with customers. I've called up a few dudes at the last minute to see if they can make it to the Open... we'll see, need a bloke since there'll be many likely females around (was looking forward to a boys day out). I might give them away to cousins if I can't find some takers.

Plus I wanted to go see Erica's performance tonight but the ticket price is huge and is not something I can do right now... I hope everything goes well for her and the troop since they seem to have worked a fair bit for it.

Bush gave his State Of The Union address today, seems as though the Empire will let no one stand in its way in the face of any threat... whether it's an imagined threat or a fictionally plausible one. Ha.
There are humans hell-bent on destruction and others like survival... or maybe that elusive Billionth dollar is worth that human destruction. Seems like that. And lately it's quite obvious.

It's not even the 13th day of the month!

Peace,
Dan.
